### 1\. Place the PS5 is in a better\-ventilated area

Ideally with a few inches of space around all sides

### 2\. Take it out of a closed media cabinet

They need quite a bit of air circulation - especially when running AAA titles like Call of Duty.

### 3\. Clean the external vents and dust catchers

These can get overly gummed up with fluff and dust.
Use a (dry) brush or vacuum from the outside of the case. Go all the way around.

### 4\. Go horizontal

Try placing the console horizontally instead of vertically, as this can prove more even for cooling.
