Our technicians can provide immediate fixes for the Sony PlayStation 5, with on-demand courier pickup from your home or workplace, often fixed in under 3 hours (round trip).
However, here are some simple fixes you should try yourself first!
HDMI Port Damage
Try a different HDMI cable and a different HDMI port on your TV. Ensure all connections are secure. Check the PS5's HDMI port for any visible physical damage like bent or broken pins.
Overheating
Ensure the PS5 is in a well-ventilated area with a few inches of space on all sides. Avoid placing it inside a closed media cabinet. Clean the external vents and dust catchers with a dry brush or a vacuum. Try placing the console horizontally instead of vertically, as some reports suggest this can prevent liquid metal from dripping.
Optical Drive Issues
Ensure the disc is clean and free of scratches. Try restarting the console and inserting the disc correctly (artwork facing up if the console is horizontal, or to the left if vertical). Eject any disc that may be stuck by holding down the eject button or by using the software option on the dashboard.
Controller Stick Drift
Press down on the analog stick and rotate it in a clockwise and counterclockwise motion for a minute. You can also try gently lifting the stick and blowing compressed air into the base to dislodge any debris. Reset the controller by pressing the small button on the back with a pointy object.

Connectivity Problems
Restart your modem and router. Check your network settings on the PS5 to ensure you are connected to the correct network. A wired Ethernet connection is often more stable than Wi-Fi.
Console Freezing / Crashing
Ensure your PS5 system software is up to date. Close and restart the game or application. Restart the PS5. Power cycle the console by unplugging it from the power source for at least 30 seconds.
